I AM LEGEND is an Award Winner!

The Lyric Cinema Cafe held it's first "Local Filmmaker Night" yesterday. This event was meant to bring local filmmakers together to connect with one another, give each other feedback as well as screen for the local audience.

Summer is usually "Wedding Season" but lately it feels a bit more like "Baby Season" and no, I don't mean to hunt babies. For those of you who think that, there is a short for you HERE.

Cashin' Checks and Breakin' Necks

Howdy,

I don't normally do update blogs, since I get the impression that most of of you who visit the site are interested in seeing videos and animations and not in my blog writing skills (That's why I leave it to professionals like Kyle Anderson). However, I wanted to let you all know what I've been up to this past week (Since it's interesting and actually has bearing on filmmaking)

This short was inspired by a co-worker, who asked me the question: "If George Washington were alive today, what do you think he would say about our country?" I find the question intriguing, although if we were to take it literally, I doubt that General Washington would want to talk politics.

There isn't one among us who doesn't have at least a little high school angst still washing around inside them-shit, why do you think John Hughes created The Breakfast Club.

Strangely Accurate Movie Synopses

Strangely Accurate Movie Synopses

When I was a kid, before internet was widely available, if I was unfamiliar with a movie, I had to look it up in T.V. Guide. There in the back of the publication, were lists of films, complete with a plot synopsis of each film that was playing that week. Years later Steve Giuliano told me a story about a T.V. Guide synopsis for The Wizard of Oz that was off, but strangely accurate: " A young woman goes to a magical land and kills the first person she meets. Later she teams up with three others only to kill again."
