Summer is usually "Wedding Season" but lately it feels a bit more like "Baby Season" and no, I don't mean to hunt babies. For those of you who think that, there is a short for you HERE.

What? Who? Admin!?

I mean, walking on the ceiling? Crazy stuff.Hi Kids! Just a quick note if you're having trouble logging into the site: I never learned to read. Thus my difficulty in reading the fine print when performing site upgrades.

At any rate, the problem should be licked now. I think. If you're still having trouble logging in, the problem is with your session cookies. Those damn dirty cookies. Try clearing em.

Cinematic Music Videos: Rush, Rush/Rebel Without a Cause

Long before Paula Abdul was "Nice Judge" on the television blight that is American Idol, she was a singer and choreographer. And long before Keanu Reeves starred in the Matrix, he performed the part of analog James Dean in this video.

Cashin' Checks and Breakin' Necks

Howdy,

I don't normally do update blogs, since I get the impression that most of of you who visit the site are interested in seeing videos and animations and not in my blog writing skills (That's why I leave it to professionals like Kyle Anderson). However, I wanted to let you all know what I've been up to this past week (Since it's interesting and actually has bearing on filmmaking)

I was inspired to make this video after watching CBP's "Troublemaker Shorts". I hadn't made a movie of my own in...five years? It had been a while, regardless, and I missed it. After watching the boys' shorts, I decided to do the same.

The Star Spangled Fists of Science (Ani-Logue 5)

This short was inspired by a co-worker, who asked me the question: "If George Washington were alive today, what do you think he would say about our country?" I find the question intriguing, although if we were to take it literally, I doubt that General Washington would want to talk politics.

Cinematic Music Videos: California Love/Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

2Pac, Dr. Dre-California Love/Mad Max Beyond Thunderdome

2Pac's California Love is a staple of mid 90's gangster rap. This was a decade when rap changed forms and leaned toward a harsher, grittier style. The lyrics became more violent and sexualized, much to the chagrin of Media watchdog groups and concerned parents everywhere. Rap moved from the urban outskirts of the music industry to the "safe haven" of suburbia. Once relegated to the 2 hour Yo! MTV Raps program, this musical genre has now found a permanent home in every facet of modern media.

Top 5 High School Movies You Probably HAVEN"T Seen...But Should

Top 5 High School Movies That You've Probably Never Never Seen...But Should

As some of you may know this past weekend was my ten year high school reunion. It went exceptionally well even if it felt a little odd. Because of this experience, I decided to take a nod from friend and colleague, Kyle Anderson, and create a list of high school films. There are dozens of classic high school films out there (The John Hughes canon comes to mind) And while I am a John Hughes fan, those movies have been seen by everyone. The list I have created is made up of five high school films you probably haven't seen.
